Dr. Schmiedicke went out for a walk in the woods last night and found a dead tree stump….glowing in the dark. We checked it out and found out that there was a fungus on the stump that is called Foxfire and it does indeed glow in the dark. It was pretty incredible…we walked out in complete darkness and saw the tree stump glowing with a color like that of a lightning bug.
Who knows what we’d find if we spent more time in the dark woods at night?
