In other countries, small-scale farming remains the norm. In China and India especially, hand-driven equipment like the wheat harvester pictured are readily available. While a bit pricey, they can make the difference between individual farmers harvesting a decent sized crop of grain and not bothering to grow grain because of the difficulty of harvesting.
